Hi! My name is Ariannie Avila. I love watching anime, playing video games, crafting and collecting! My top anime are Jujutsu Kaisen and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. My top games are Persona 4 Golden and Yakuza 0.
Why did you want to be a DSP Peer?
I chose to become a DSP Peer mentor because I wanted to help other students like me who don’t know how DSP can be a vital resource for taking exams and note-taking. I want to help students take advantage of their most vital resource, especially struggling with a disability.
Tips for fellow students?
Do not be afraid to ask for help, it's better to have support than struggle alone. Another tip would be to take advantage of the school's resources. There are so many avenues of support that the school offers, so get your money's worth out of it! Lastly, be involved in clubs and organizations as it will help you to find a community with people of the same passions and interests!
